We are Jonathan and Jen, a husband and wife team who recently created Narrative Mercantile. Our goal is to create curated story-based collections of vintage and antique fashion and accessories for men and women, as well as housewares, decor, and furniture.
We love quirky and interesting objects. Anything that’s a bit different, from the kitschy to the beautiful. We especially love learning the stories behind the items we find and enjoy passing that history onto our customers.
The memories and attachments people make with everyday objects are what excites us most. What does an item have to say about the people who owned and used it in the past? What is its story? Can that story affect the next owner?
