Food Truck Food Court Expands at Vintage Garage Chicago
CHICAGO–There’s another reason to come to the October 21 edition on Vintage Garage Chicago. The Food Truck Food Court, which premiered in September, will be bigger for the Season Finale show October 21.
Get Curried Away, Chitown Tamale, Baby Cakes, Chicago Cupcakes, Stop and Go, Bridgeport Pasty, Getta Polpetta and Mojo Express will be onsite and providing delicacies including pastries, pancakes, frozen treats, Italian favorites and tamales. The trucks will be placed in an adjacent lot and surround cafe tables.
“Food and vintage go great together,” says Melissa Sands of Vintage Promotions, LLC. “Last month nearly all of the food trucks sold out.”
The food trucks compliment a wide array of options already available in the area, including Vietnamese Pho soup, sandwiches made with French bread and Vietnamese coffee. Sands estimates that in this Summer of Vintage hundreds have tried those delicacies for the first time.
Entry into the Food Truck Court Cafe is included with the $3 gate fee to the Vintage Garage.
