Cabin Fever Can Be Cured: Winter Garage Vintage Show is Inside in Jan and Feb
EDGEWATER–There’s a little-known cure for cabin fever- shopping for vintage. Vintage Garage Chicago will be indoors again for a special run of the Winter Garage at the corner of Granville and Broadway in Edgewater. There are two opportunities to stock up on vintage coats, gloves, hats and scarves as well as housewares, art, decorative items, jewelry and more.
“Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean we have to wait to shop for vintage,” says Melissa Sands of Vintage Promotions, LLC, producer of the show. “We know what to expect from Chicago winters, and know how to make the most of it with the best vintage winter clothing-and lots more.”
Vendors include Honkeytonkstar Vintage, She Comes in Colors, Richard’s Fabulous Finds, Vintage Schmintage, Lee Merrick Vintage and Antiques, Maggie Roche Vintage, Estate Chicago, Yetti Treasures, Century Chicago and many others.
The Winter Garage will be held January 19-20 and February 16-17 at 1134 West Granville in Edgewater- the same location as the Holiday Trunk Show. The hours are 11-6 both days.
